Meteorological and Oceanographic Satellite Data Archival Centre (MOSDAC) is established to help the scientific community in the fields of meteorology and oceanography for their research work at Space Applications Centre (Bopal campus), Ahmedabad. The data centre archives the meteorological/oceanographic data products from ISRO science missions and disseminates through web based service (www.mosdac.gov.in).

Objectives:
To acquire/process/archive and disseminate Meteorological and Oceanographic satellite data products through web based services (www.mosdac.gov.in).
To facilitate and promote the exchange of satellite/in-situ data products/numerical model data to the research and academic users.

Services:
Weather images from Kalpana1/INSAT-3A satellites.
Dissemination of Satellite/In-situ data to the registered users.
Support to Special Observation Periods (SOPs) like launch, cyclone etc., by disseminating the data in Near Real Time (NRT).
All-India weather forecast.
